Why is it that we all have a lot more stories about events that flopped than we do about the events that kicked butt?
Personally, I remember more than one event where I went through all the hassle of food, beverages, invitations- even partnering with local businesses…only to be skunked! Talk about a blow to the ego…
We’ll that was then and this is now. Today, with the right Pre, Day of and Post Event strategies the days of getting skunked are over.
On July 19th I’ll be sharing 3 can’t miss strategies for pulling off events that generate sales. You can use this link to register https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/302505042.
Until then, tell me below about anything you’ve struggled with when it comes to pulling off events? I’ll try to address as many of your thoughts and questions as possible on the 19th.
Happy Selling!

P.S. I’d also love to hear about successful things you’ve done. Just leave a comment below. Looking forward to hearing what you have to say!
Ok now I need to come clean on my debacle. I convinced (‘er begged) this business to provide food for the event for free so they’d get all this GREAT exposure from local Realtors. They reluctantly agreed.
Then, over the 3 hours of the event I could see them getting more and more upset at the lack of a turnout. At the end of the night I was asking them if I could write a check to cover their costs since it was a bust (thank you AGAIN local Realtors!).
I can’t blame the Realtors. I didn’t execute the Pre-Event strategy that I’ll share with you on July 19th. Needless to say, the business didn’t do any more events with me!
