Encore: The 5 Biggest Sales Mistakes Builders Made in 2013 – and How to Avoid Them THIS Year.

Coach Rick Here…Biggest-Sales-Mistakes--square-image-2014

This is the time of year when home builders and home remodelers map out their plans, their marketing strategies, and their sales goals for 2014.

Hopefully you’re planning for a record breaking year…

A couple weeks ago, I put on a special webinar titled “The 5 Biggest Sales Mistakes Builders Made in 2013 and How to Avoid them in 2013.”

We had tons of requests to run it again after the holidays – so we’ve scheduled it again for Thursday, January 9th – 2pm EST, 1pm CST, Noon MST, 11am PST.

Here’s a preview of what you’ll learn:

Mistake #1: Sales people performing the wrong sales tasks.

I’ll be taking you through exactly what those “wrong tasks” are, and why it is much more costly than you might think when your sales reps are spending time on these.

Mistake #2: Presenting pricing to your prospects at the wrong time during the sale process.

If you present your pricing too early you can lose a hot prospect. If you’re too late – they may have already signed with a competitor.

I’m going to reveal the “sweet spot” when it comes to sharing your pricing – and that will include showing you the very best format to use for that presentation.

It makes a huge difference in closed sales.

Mistake #3: Not using the right “formula” for your sales presentations.

Let’s say your salesperson is working in a model, and a couple walks thru the door. They love the place.

Will your salesperson spend all of his or her time talking about gourmet kitchens and master suites? Or will they move the discussion into a sales formula that produces closed sales? I’ll be sharing that powerful formula, including the exact questions to ask so your prospect will share pertinent information, and will quickly understand why your company is their best choice.

Mistake #4: Not incorporating all three of the adult learning styles into your presentation.

Most sales presentations are simply made by sitting down at the table, having a discussion. But here’s the problem. Only about 10% of the adult population learns things strictly by listening to you. The other
90% learns from “seeing” or “doing.”

I’ll be teaching you how to incorporate all three of these important styles into every sales presentation.

Mistake #5: Allowing your prospects to “beat you” at the technology game.

In today’s high tech world, your prospects do the majority of their home building research on the internet, long before they head out the door to stop by a model or showroom.

If you’re going to remain competitive, you absolutely must set-up a virtual market place.

I’m going to teach you exactly how to get that done.
